Sport Academies (Basketball and Netball)
The Sports Academy Program at Cheltenham Secondary College is designed to promote inclusiveness and encourages newcomers to the sport, as well as being a destination for students to enhance existing netball or basketball skills.
Students will represent the college in a newly designed team uniform specific to each sport which includes a training top and team hoodie.
2023 Cheltenham Netball and Basketball Academy events are open and we welcome students of all ages to participate. Check out the links below to meet our coaches and discover what our year-long program is all about.

Netball - Leah Percy
2011- 2019; represented Australia in touch football
2013; named in Australia’s top 100 female athletes
2014; VNL championship captain for the Southern Saints
2018 - current; Head Netball Coach of Edithvale Aspendale Netball Football Club
2021; Assistant Coach of Southern Saints VNL Championship team
Basketball - Zoe Zwerling
Zoe Zwerling is an Australian/American basketball player having played Varsity High School Basketball and playing all around America including Division 1 at Northeastern University.
Zoe is currently playing for Casey Cavaliers in the position of Guard.
