Student Leadership
Student Leadership consists of Junior, Middle and Senior College Captains. As part of their role as College Captain, students are responsible for their sub-schools as well as raising any issues or concerns, suggesting improvements on various college programs and curricular and being involved in school decisions across the community.
The SRC president and College Captains meet fortnightly to discuss issues, improvements, student and community feedback and suggestions.
Student voice is prominent across the school. The SRC which represents each individual year level are involved in decision making and improvements across important areas, such as:
- Mental health and wellbeing (school community)
- Curriculum (classroom - teaching and learning)
- Environment (physical and sustainability)
- Extra-curricular programs and events
Our student leaders are encouraged to bring passion and empathy to others, particularly the less fortunate and to make a difference within the broader school community. Many charities and good causes are supported annually.
Student Leaders also get the opportunity to make a difference in the school directly by having representatives in a variety of forums and committees:
